The Goodness of Jesus toward the Holy Women

As the holy women hurried along the path, still trembling but full of love, Jesus came to meet them. He did not speak to them with any hardness, but so gently and kindly: “Fear not.” They were shy and afraid, and Jesus knew it. So He let them come close, even to hold His feet and adore Him.

How good Jesus is! He understands our weakness and does not turn us away. Instead, He meets us with tenderness and gives us just the grace we need. Like a loving Shepherd, He cares for each one of us, knowing when we are afraid, tired, or unsure.

And He still says to us, just as He did to them, “Fear not.” When we try to follow Him, even with little steps, He stays near to guide us, to help us, and to comfort us. He is our Lord to lead us, our Father to care for us, our Master to teach us, and our Friend to encourage us.

If we stay close to Him, especially in quiet prayer and in Holy Communion, we will find peace. We can lay all our worries at His feet and trust that nothing will ever separate us from His love.

Prayer

Dear Jesus, thank You for being so gentle and good to us. When we feel afraid or weak, help us to hear Your voice saying, “Fear not.” Keep us close to You, and teach us to trust You more each day. Amen.
